1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Interlock! By using our ThreatSlayer browser extension, Bouncer Discord security bot, and related services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.
2. ThreatSlayer Service
a. Functionality: ThreatSlayer is a browser extension designed to protect users from malicious websites. While ThreatSlayer operates without registration, only registered users are eligible for Interlock's $ILOCK token rewards.
b. Data Collection: When ThreatSlayer is active, it sends the URL you are browsing to our backend for safety checks, blocks malicious URLs, and, for registered users, sends a unique key with the URL for reward calculation. Interlock stores non-personally identifiable data for URL scanning and user data for token rewards.
c. Open Source: ThreatSlayer is an open-source project, and its source code is available on GitHub.
3. Data Storage and Anonymization
a. URL Scanning Data: Interlock retains data necessary for URL classification, including the contents of pages, excluding query string parameters for privacy. Analytics data may be stored indefinitely.
b. Token Rewards Data: To reward ThreatSlayer users, Interlock stores registered users' usernames, hashed passwords, wallet addresses, visited URLs, referrers, and optional referrers of referrers.
c. Data Anonymization: Users can use ThreatSlayer without registering for anonymous browsing, with no data stored by Interlock connecting the user to their activities.
4. Bouncer Discord Security Bot
a. Functionality: Bouncer is Interlock's open-source Discord security bot. It collects and sometimes retains event data from Discord to protect servers from malicious links.
b. Data Collection: Bouncer collects non-personally identifiable data, including Discord server/guild ID, channel ID, allowlisted URLs, dynamically rendered heuristic assets, and URLs by server ID without parameters.
c. Compliance: Interlock adheres to Discord Developers Terms of Service and the Discord Developer Policy in its work on Bouncer.
5. Data Sharing and Monetization
a. Data Sharing: Interlock may sell threat data, including malicious URLs and related browsing data, to major Internet companies or third-party brokers.
6. User Rights and Controls
a. Access: Users have the right to access their personal information processed by Interlock.
b. Opt-out: Users can prevent data collection by not registering for ThreatSlayer, although Interlock may still sell malicious URL data.
c. Deletion: Registered users can delete their accounts, disassociating from visited URLs. However, Interlock may still sell malicious URL data.
d. Correction: Users can request correction of inaccurate personal information.
e. Non-discrimination: All users receive equal protection against malicious URLs, regardless of registration status.
f. Appeal: Users have the right to appeal unresolved privacy concerns by responding directly to our response or sending another email.
7. Data Processing and Storage
a. Location: All ThreatSlayer data is processed on DigitalOcean infrastructure in the United States, stored in a virtual machine accessible only to authorized Interlock employees.

By using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service. Interlock reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time, with notice provided to users. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes to the Terms.
